Leads all development activities for the company

Prior to co-founding Chaparral, Spence was with Trinsic Residential Group, where he was involved in the sourcing, development, and disposition of over 7,000 units consisting of a total market capitalization of $1.2 Billion. Prior to Trinsic Spence was on the asset management team for Kimco Realty Corporation (KIM).

Spence graduated from Texas Christian University and resides in Dallas with his family. Professionally, Spence is an active member of The Real Estate Council and Urban Land Institute. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Interfaith Family Services, is a member of TouchDown Club of Dallas and attends Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
